Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital is the only hospital in Korea to participate in the “International Integrated Medicine Education and Clinical Exchange Online Platform” project promoted by UCLA Medical School in the United States.
Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital (Hospital President Lee Jin-ho) announced on the 10th that it will participate on behalf of Korea in the international integrated medicine platform led by the UCLA School of Medicine.
This project is an international exchange program designed to strengthen the global capabilities and professionalism of medical students around the world, and 12 major universities and institutions, including the United States, China, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong, have formed cooperative relationships. Among them, Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital was the only hospital-level institution to be included.
The platform will be opened within this year, and after a one-year trial operation, full-fledged exchanges will take place. Participating organizations share clinical and joint research results, and students can apply for training and use learning programs online.
During the consultation, the dean and presidents of 12 institutions were impressed by the development of oriental medicine and the clinical education system of Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital, an official at Jaseng Medical Academy said. “We will continue to expand clinical training and academic exchanges to cultivate global talents and strengthen our international status in the integrated medicine field.”
