The notice further reads, “It may be noted that this is the last opportunity to apply for the eligibility certificates and thereafter no further chance would be available to the candidates to apply for the eligibility certificates. Accordingly, all candidates are requested to apply to making due diligence and checking the requisite entries scrupulously before applying.”
The notice further informed that the applicants could make enquiries about the status of the eligibility application at [email protected] and [email protected]. However, while making such enquiries, all the candidates are requested to invariably provide their filed tracking number, which was generated while submitting the application to NMC for issuance of the eligibility certificate.
It may please be noted that no response would be sent to the candidate in the absence of a file tracking number. “An Advisory is also attached for the guidance of the applicants. The candidates who have already submitted application for issuance of the eligibility certificate to NMC in the past, they need not apply again,” said the official notice.
Meanwhile, the FMGE is tentatively scheduled for July 2025. As per the requirements, the candidates who are required to have the eligibility certificate are not permitted to apply for the exam without the eligibility certificate issued by the NMC. The online portal for applying for EC will be opened on March 10, 2025 (09:30 AM).
Furthermore, NMC has also listed suggestions to avoid mistakes while applying for the eligibility certificate.
The suggestions are as follows:
- The applications should preferably be filled by the candidate himself and should ideally avoid proxy for making applications for ECR15015/(Gen.)(34)/2024-Regn. I/3749449/2025.
- The candidates are also advised to keep their documents handy before filling in an application for EC; it would be ideal if the entries to be made are verified vis-a-vis entries in the original documents.
- The candidates should provide their active mobile numbers so that alerts/deficiencies can reach them directly for rectification to prevent any delay in rectification. It may also be ensured that once the deficiency is conveyed, only the deficiency should be rectified by the respective candidate as expeditiously as possible to avoid a last-minute rush.
- Candidates shall scrupulously check entries and ensure conformity with the details in the original documents to ensure quick processing/approval of applications if otherwise eligible.
